Ideal lens protection made of optical glass, color neutral. The MC8 coating features four layers on each side for high light transmission and maximum anti-reflective properties. It has a vapor-deposited multi-layer coating. Both the front and back of the filter are coated, preventing loss of contrast and brilliance, and eliminating ghosting and double images. The ultra-thin wide-angle frame prevents vignetting and can remain permanently on the lens without noticeably extending the lens mount. A protected front lens saves costly repair expenses. The filter is made of optical glass with a black anodized metal filter frame and black-painted inner edges to avoid reflections. The edge sealing protects against dirt, and the frame maintains its shape despite temperature fluctuations.
