For our USB 3.0 cables, we use only high-quality cable materials that are UL certified. The use of modern production facilities, standardized processes, and high-quality materials ensures consistently high processing quality of the products.

High-quality cable construction: The conductors of our USB cables are made of copper (CU) and are double-shielded (braided and foil shielding). The foil-shielded AWG28 data lines are twisted pair and provide data transfer rates of up to 5 GBit/s (Super-Speed). The copper wires for power supply (USB bus power) are thicker, rated at AWG24. For cost reasons, other manufacturers sometimes use thinner wires or copper-clad aluminum (CCA) or steel copper (CCS) as conductor materials. This leads to a significantly lower performance.
