With the USB 3.0 cable from kabelmeister®, you can connect your USB-A devices, such as an external HDD or a hub, to devices that have a USB-A port, like your notebook or computer. High-quality cable construction

The conductors of our USB cables are made of copper (CU) and are double-shielded (braided and foil shielding). The AWG28 data lines, shielded in foil, are twisted pair and provide data transfer rates of up to 5 GBit/s (Super-Speed). The copper wires for power supply (USB bus power) are thicker, rated at AWG24. For cost reasons, other manufacturers sometimes use thinner wires or copper-clad aluminum (CCA) or steel copper (CCS) as conductor materials. This results in significantly poorer conductivity and leads to an associated voltage drop.

Our high-quality cable construction allows for optimal signal transmission and power supply while also providing greater tensile strength of the cable. For flawless signal transmission, the USB connectors are nickel-plated and equipped with gold-plated copper contacts.
