Fujifilm X-H2S

26.16 Mpx, APS-C / DX

Product details

The Fujifilm X-H2S is the new flagship of the X-series. With a back-illuminated 26.16MP "X-TransTM CMOS 5 HS "2 sensor and the new high-speed "X-Processor 5", the camera achieves new X-series highs in
both filming and photography. The camera is equipped with a back-illuminated 26.16MP "X-TransTM CMOS 5 HS" sensor. Its signal readout speed is approximately 4x that of the current model, allowing continuous shooting without blackout at up to 40 frames per second. The camera controls the phase detection pixels independently of the image display in burst mode. This enables high-speed focusing even during high-speed continuous shooting at 40 frames per second, greatly improving AF accuracy in continuous shooting mode. The use of the new sensor and processor, combined with increased built-in memory capacity, significantly increases the number of images that can be captured in burst mode. When using the electronic shutter, the camera can shoot over 1,000 consecutive images at up to 30 fps m JPEG format and 20 fps in RAW format. The EVF features a high-resolution 5.76-million-dot panel with 0.8x magnification, enabling accurate tracking of subject movement. Significantly improved AF performance through the use of new equipment and improved. Algorithms, which enables tracking of a moving subject and accurate focusing in zone AF, significantly improved, allowing subjects that are constantly moving to be tracked accurately. The new image processor features a Scene Detection AF function developed with Deep Learning technology. It automatically detects and tracks subjects such as the human face, animals, birds, motorbikes, etc. Improved video performance for different requirements with the new sensor and processor, enabling internal storage of 4:2:2 10-bit video at 6.2K/30P. The camera also supports high-speed video recording at 4K/120P. In addition, the camera supports AF+MF function in video mode and offers scene detection AF function even during video recording. Furthermore, the camera features a new heat-dissipating structure that significantly increases the maximum video recording time and enables the recording of 240 minutes of 4K/60P video. The camera features an all-new five-axis image stabilisation mechanism, which offers an advantage of up to 7.0 stops.

Foto MagazinTechnik Test APS-C-KamerasReleaseSeptember 2023

The sovereign test victory goes to Fuji's high-resolution flagship X-H2, which, however, with a street price of approx. 2130 euros is considerably more expensive than the two new cameras. Despite the lower price, the Fuji X-S20 comes out on top against the Sony Alpha 6700, which does not quite live up to the claim of being a top model r...
