Spectrum Smart ABS filament is a material known for its high impact flexural strength combined with relatively high stiffness. The "smart" version features enhanced processing parameters, which notably decrease the challenges of additive manufacturing with standard ABS material. This primarily involves reduced shrinkage and limited release of irritating volatile compounds during processing. An undeniable advantage of this material is that it retains its properties at temperatures as low as -40°C.

Compared to standard ABS, Smart ABS is distinguished by:

• reduced shrinkage rate,
• glossy surface finish of the print,
• lower printing temperature,
• increased flow factor.
