The 7.7 mm back-illuminated CMOS sensor, combined with the powerful DIGIC 8 processor and versatile 24-960 mm equivalent optics, makes this camera an outstanding choice for a variety of shooting situations. The ISO sensitivity can be set between 100 and 3200, and the advanced five-axis dynamic image stabilizer with Dual Sensing IS technology helps capture sharp photos and shake-free videos.

With the Canon Powershot SX740 LT camera, you can record 4K 25p video. You can connect the image to a television via the micro HDMI port.

The Canon Powershot SX740 HS LT digital camera is identical to the Canon Powershot SX740 HS model, with the only difference being that charging via the micro USB port has been disabled due to EU regulations coming into effect in 2025.
