Die G7X-III-Version kam 2019 mit dem damals neuen DIGIC-8-Prozessor und 4K-Videoauflösung auf den Markt. Sie ist noch als Abverkauf im Fotofachhandel zu finden, aber auch gebraucht problemlos erhältlich.
