The EOS R6 is a mirrorless, full-frame camera that uses an electronic shutter to take silent continuous shots at up to 20 fps, shoots 4K 60p video and offers an ISO sensitivity of up to ISO 102,400 for
superb low-light performance. The latest generation image stabilizer enables pin-sharp images with up to 8 steps² longer exposure times even without a tripod. The Canon EOS R6 convinces in all areas. But it is particularly interesting for all those who take action shots or film on the move. Wedding, event and documentary photographers will be amazed by the lightning-fast AF, which recognizes heads, eyes and bodies - not only of people, but also of cats, dogs and birds. With silent continuous shooting at up to 20 fps¹, or up to 12 fps¹ with a mechanical shutter, you'll capture fractions of a second - ideal for action photography. The 20-megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC X image processor in this unique mirrorless camera offer the perfect balance between resolution, low-light performance and dynamic range. With a maximum sensitivity of ISO 102,400 and an autofocus that works down to -6.5 LW, this full frame mirrorless camera offers superior low-light performance. Make creative use of motion blur or continue working reliably even in low-light conditions. The EOS R6 offers an in-camera 5-axis image stabilizer that, when used with a lens with optical image stabilizer, provides up to 8 levels of stabilization. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II AF system focuses the action in as little as 0.05 sec.³. It covers virtually 100% of the field of view in auto tracking mode - and it detects the faces, eyes and bodies of people and even cats, dogs and birds. Or you can set the focus manually with 6,072 selectable AF positions. Move up a gear in your film projects. The EOS R6 shoots beautiful 4K 60p video with 10-bit color, Canon Log 1 and support for HDR PQ. It also offers frame rates up to 120p in Full HD resolution. When shooting video, the EOS R6's advanced image stabilization and tracking AF systems offer a creative advantage: shots are smooth and steady, and the faces or eyes of your subjects are always razor-sharp. Headphone and microphone jacks let you control the sound as well. This mirrorless 4K camera features an HDMI micro connector that allows you to record video on an external recorder. With 3.69 million pixels, the EOS R6's electronic viewfinder gives you a bright and clear view of the scene. It also displays the image with all filters and effects exactly as it is recorded. A 3.0-inch (7.5 cm), 1.62-million-dot rotatable display simplifies image composition from unusual angles, and the sturdy body is protected against dust and water spray. Two memory card slots with support for UHS-II SD cards Backup files while recording, JPEGs and RAW to different memory cards or photos and videos to different memory cards - the storage options are as versatile as the camera. The EOS R6 uses 2.4 GHz WLAN to upload images directly to the cloud via image.canon and connect to mobile devices to which your shots can be transferred and redirected. The permanent connection via Bluetooth⁴ makes establishing the connection particularly easy.
