The successful toaster from the Plissé collection, which Michele De Lucchi designed for Alessi, is getting even bigger and will be available in a new, elongated version from autumn 2023 - including a bun attachment.

"Through skilful and creative pleating, designers shape fabrics and create garments reminiscent of art sculptures. Plissé is created from a folded sheet of paper and is made by Alessi like a noble couture object. The folds give shape to the form, form it, structure it, because a form without folds is just a volume without form. Larger: the elongated double compartment allows up to four to be toasted at the same time.
