The successful toaster from the Plissé collection, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Alessi, is now even larger and will be available in a new elongated version starting in autumn 2023 - complete with a roll holder.

A powerful ally for preparing and enjoying a sociable breakfast, brunch, or even a light lunch with friends or family.

"Through skillful and creative pleating, designers shape fabrics and create garments that resemble art sculptures. Plissé is born from a folded sheet of paper and is crafted by Alessi like a fine couture object. The pleats give the form shape, mold it, and structure it, because a shape without pleats is merely a volume without form. The pleats transform simple two-dimensional sheets into three-dimensional objects." Michele De Lucchi
