The C13 to C14 power cable can be used to extend a C13 power cable and to connect PDUs (Power Distribution Units) in data centers.

The use of an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable sheath reduces the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in the event that the cable is damaged by fire or short circuit.
