Mechanical keyboards are my great passion. In the series «Keycap Kevin», I’m experimenting with various techniques to beautify keyboards. Today’s experiment: water transfer printing.

Youtube, TikTok and the like are full of videos of people beautifying various things with hydro dipping. They take a bucket of water, spray paint into it and dip their workpiece into the coloured water. This creates great effects. But does it work with a keyboard? Check out the video above to find out. For English subtitles, click the gear icon, «Subtitles/CC» and «Auto-translate».

This is episode 1 of the five-part series «Keycap Kevin». I’ll keep adding new episodes to this page.
