The All-Star Battle Royale: Today with "Warzone" and "Apex Legends"

Esports pros respond to hot takes and nasty comments about their games

We confronted experts in «Apex Legends», «Fortnite», «PUBG» and «Warzone 2.0» with some hard-hitting opinions. The Battle Royale pros certainly didn’t pull their punches.
«Apex Legends» has boring updates. «Fortnite» is cringe. «Warzone 2.0» is so buggy it’s barely playable. And «PUBG» has long been a dead game.
As a warm-up for the Digitec Playground Cup finals in «Apex Legends», we collected the nastiest comments on all your favourite Battle Royale games. Four experts for their respective games responded to these statements.
Team «Fortnite» is represented by Pistolenhenry. Ehmv waves the «Warzone 2.0» banner. «Apex Legends» is heralded by Lonya. And Chrigi tries to keep up the honour of «PUBG». Keep in mind, the video is in Swiss German. However, you can easily set up English captions by clicking on «Subtitles/CC» in the YouTube settings, hitting «Auto-translate» and selecting English.
Even more Battle Royale action
Our «Apex Legends» expert Chrigi switched sides for the video and represented «PUBG» for once. He already hosted both «Apex Legends» qualifiers for the Digitec Playground Cup. On Saturday, 18 March, he and aRTycH will head the grand finale of the Digitec Playground Cup Vol. 9.
In the final, Switzerland’s best «Apex Legends» players will give each other a run for their money in a pro tournament setting. And amateurs can also prove themselves on the virtual battlefield in the second event. Both tournaments will be broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube. The show starts at 12:00 p.m.
