It occurred to me today: One would have to test whether one can 'trick' the system by exchanging used print heads. Experience reports (also here) from people who were able to use the OLD head again after inserting a new one suggest that it could work. In other words, the system is not 'smart enough' to recognise an old print head. This could mean that the difference between a 'new' and an 'other' (old) one is not recognised either :-))

Included are the usual HP setup cartridges for the start-up of the printhead, these have a reduced filling quantity and last about 1/3 - 1/2 as long as "normal" ones. Existing used cartridges from the old printhead can still be used after the setup cartridges have been used up.

Me too! Great thing, so I can "z'Bode fahre" my already somewhat older HP (for my "eco-conscience"). The cartridges supplied are not dummies, but have already lasted over 3 months (in the classroom (3-5 prints daily (colour/b&w mixed)).

I hardly think so. The CR324A printhead was purchased for an HP Officejet Pro 8620 model and fits. For the HP Designjet T120, "HP 711 Printhead C1Q10A" might fit. Try googling "HP 711 printhead C1Q10A" or "HP Designjet T120" there is a lot of information. Good luck!

I don't know, it looks the same as mine, but what I do know is that HP can break the carriage if you use the wrong cartridges, ones that are not original HP, shortly after inserting the wrong cartridges the carriage goes to waste, there is software to fix this, shortly after that the carriage is broken again. So be careful with the wrong ink cartridges that do not come directly from HP or do not connect the printer to the internet but it is best to do this from the beginning otherwise HP can control this and destroy the carriage.

Will this item fit in my HP 8620 printer?

It should be compatible but you'd better check on the HP website... I should also tell you that this kit also includes a set of ink cartridges! It is therefore not necessary to also buy the set of cartridges No. 950/951.
