I'm the same way, I can't add the item to the shopping cart at the promotional price. @Digitec: Can you take a look?
can recommend the monitor. i have 2 of them on my mac pro via thunderbolt dock with 4k and sometimes use a win laptop with gtx 850m via hdmi for gaming with 1440p. If your requirements are not as high as you write, this should work with the gtx970 without further ado. Reducing the resolution is no problem. 4k is definitely worth it for work.
Hello all, the price of 259.- is valid, all those who ordered at 342.- will receive an email with the credit note including instructions on how to get the money back if you have already paid. Best regards and sorry for any inconvenience, Roie
The difference lies in the last two letters in the name (ZG and EN). These are the country designations. EN apparently stands for the Netherlands and EN for Germany. However, there is no technical difference.
A suitable HDMI cable is included I use the screen daily and am very satisfied with the screen and HDMI cable.
Unfortunately, I can't judge yet. I ordered the monitor from Digitec on 08.03.2020 and have still not received it. Despite several complaints, the status has been set to ready for delivery for days now. But nothing is happening.
If you mean the power supply LED at the bottom of the unit ... There are the following options in the monitor settings: Power LED On/Off In the settings you can determine whether the power LED at the bottom of the unit is to be activated or deactivated and change the and change the behaviour of the LED. -- Executed: The power LED lights up when the unit is switched on. -- Standby: The power LED lights up when the unit is switched off. You can download an operating manual here: https://www.samsung.com/ch/support/model/LU28R550UQUXEN/
My monitor of this type has no USB3.1 input. I have Displayport and HDMI inputs. The USB port on the monitor is labelled Service. There is also a headphone jack. I did not read anything about a speaker in the manual or in the sales description. If that doesn't help you, please be more specific with your question and situation description if you need help. Then maybe they can help you.
With PBP, you can view content from two different sources simultaneously on a split-screen view. And with PIP, you can arrange apps and programmes according to your own preferences. So there are even multiple ways to view different sources.
If by Mac Book Pro 13 you mean the current model with a 13" screen, the graphics card is not a problem. It can easily handle this resolution. However, I still can't use the full resolution because the font on the user interface gets too small. By the way, I wouldn't recommend this Samsung screen because you can't adjust the tilt.

yes there is a
It seems that this model is significantly tiltable. More details can be found in the manufacturer's manual: https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202004/20200424093114575/BN46-01082A-Fre.pdf
In practical terms, they seem to be two extremely similar models. Although the appliances are in the same energy category, it seems that the LU28R550UQRXEN is a little bit more energy consuming.
Thank you for pointing this out, something about the price history does not match the data, no monitor was sold for this price. We will be happy to pass this on to the relevant department.
I see no reason why it shouldn't work. But isn't 4K too much for video surveillance?
Samsung Electronics GmbH Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. Please check the settings of your graphics card - it should also support and output 60 Hz. Please also ensure that you use an HDMI 2.0 cable. If you have any further questions regarding technical settings, our support colleagues will be happy to help you. They are available from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 21:30 under the telephone number 06196 77 555 77. Best regards from Schwalbach Your Samsung Service Team
Hello, there are none... I don't know why these are two different products either.
Colour range (DCI coverage) 0.9
Not as far as I know. But I recommend connecting at least a small sound system anyway. They are already available for <100.- and built-in speakers are usually rather poor.
Good screen, but I don't use it for games and can't judge the performance in this area.
We are unable to advise you on this matter. We are sorry
You have to use a cable/output that’s compatible with 60 Hz. For example in the 2015 MacBook Pro, the HDMI output can’t drive 60 Hz, but if you use a DisplayPort output/cable it works fine.
