Question about Olympus TG-5 Open Water Diver Kit
The PT-058 housing is supposed to be waterproof up to 45 metres, why does the set say up to 12 metres?
The specifications of the TG-5 Open Water Diver Kit seem to refer only to the TG-5 it contains (this also applies to the other specifications, such as weight or accessories). The TG-5 can already be used without a housing for snorkelling or shallow dives up to 15 metres.
The Olympus housing PT-058 is included in the Open Water Diver Kit. This is waterproof up to 45m. For details see Olympus page:

To have the specifications of camera and housing together you would have to calculate accordingly combined (outer dimensions of the housing, weight of the two items together).
