Why are the read and write speeds significantly slower than a cable supplied by SanDisk for an SSD? I wanted to use this cable as a replacement for the other cable and have about 1/10 less speed, even though the cable supports 20 Gbps.

Only 18 Gbit/s instead of 20? How was this tested and always the same? With a benchmark tool?
I also have fluctuations with my cable, but that could also be due to the SSD itself.
