Which CFExpress card would be recommended to avoid the "overheating problem"? I've heard that with the right CFExpress card you can now get 1.5 hours in 4K HQ.
This is the first I've heard of it. The heat is generated by the processor, not by the card.
This is new to me. My attempts with R5 and R6 with various high-quality cards resulted in values slightly above factory specifications. External recorders can extend or bypass the limit.
I don't know if it's because of the card; I've only had the camera for a short time; I never film for a long time - no professional does that anyway - and I don't have any overheating problems with it; I usually use film sequences of 5-7 seconds.
I use an Extreme Pro Sand Disc CF Card; it was in use for about 50 minutes with interruptions - but always with short intervals; I had no problems with it.
