Question about Brother MFC-L3770CDW

When I scan, about 3mm of the actual paper is cut off at the top and right. This is particularly obvious with the flatbed scanner. If I align the paper exactly to the edge, the edge is definitely cut off. Does anyone else know this? I have tested various applications, the original Brother scanning software, Windows Fax and Scan, NAPS2 and also copies directly on the machine behave in the same way.

Hello Colcolco, Mkcogedigi, TheTrunto
It is not a bug, according to the specifications it seems to be intentional, as there are 3-4mm margins even when printing. See user manual, page 55.

@TheTrunto: Possibly there is a defect. Is the machine still under warranty? If so, I would complain. Alternatively, activate "Straighten automatically" in the options when scanning.

I bought the printer for someone else, so I can't check. I think the max. scan is 210. Try setting it to 213x297mm, then everything could be on it but slightly reduced.
