What makes this device so much more expensive than, for example, the one from Aten for CHF 49.00? I am looking for an HDMI splitter and am somewhat irritated by the large price differences. The output for me would be once on TV via a cable approx. 2m and one via beamer via a cable approx. 15m.

You can access the Aten VS182A. I have not discovered any special features of the CYP 2-way HDMI splitter on the Internet. It is probably blessed by the Pope and that is why it is so expensive.
