Question about Creative SoundBlaster E5
The Creative Soundblaster X5 sound card says "Mains operation via USB power supply DC 5 V / 1 A". Is it possible to run this card without a PC?

As soon as the unit is connected to a computer via USB, the computer recognises it as a sound card (at least with Windows 10)! Optical digital input/output is also available as an alternative.
Yes... via Bluetooth, e.g. with a smartphone...
