If you live in Switzerland and buy a camera with a European warranty, the warranty will be for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you live in Canada and buy a camera from Europe with a European warranty then the warranty will not be valid in Canada. We recommend checking with the company where you intend to buy from that the camera has the relevant Service Warranty document in the box for where you live. If it has a Nikon European Service Warranty document then your camera will be covered for 12 months within Europe.
