is this cable also for iphone 16 pro max? we are looking for one so that we can use apple car play in the car

the cable has usb c at one end and usb A at the other end
Doesn't work for me with iPhone 16 pro, 16 pro max or Ipad pro. I thought the cables could be used universally.
If it says huawei, I wouldn't use it with iPhone. Better from apple...
