Is this an active or passive -Thunderbolt 3 cable? "Docking station, external graphics cards & Co: For docking stations, external graphics cards, special hubs and all other devices that need to transfer multiple data simultaneously, you should always use an active cable."

From the Belkin website:
"The Belkin F2CD084 is a passive cable."
