Is it possible to use such a UPS as a battery pack to operate a laptop, for example, in a place where there is normally no power connection? Laptop power supply (230W)
In principle, you can. But I have the feeling that you expect too much from such a small UPS. If we leave out the laptop's internal battery, such a small UPS with 500VA can operate the laptop for maybe 30 minutes. Such UPS devices are not intended for hours of self-sufficient operation of electrical devices. They are for bridging small and very small interruptions. In other words, interruptions lasting fractions of seconds to a few minutes. Or if it is longer, that the devices can be shut down in a controlled manner without data loss.

How about a fuel cell from the motorhome sector or an inverter powered by propane gas or a photovoltaic solution with a buffer battery or just a power bank that matches the laptop?
