I would use the labels to label my cosmetic products for sale. Does the label printer print borderless? And do the colors withstand light water splashes or wet and greasy fingers? Can I print a label graphic pre-made in Canva (as an image file) using the Brother software?
Yes, it can print borderless - it takes a bit of practice so that the image doesn't get cut off. Wiping away water splashes immediately works well - but in the long term, the labels discolor very strongly in a humid environment (they turn almost completely blue after about 2 years). I would attach an example photo here, but I don't see how to do that.
Hello pirANJA99. Yes, the Brother VC-500W can basically print borderless or right up to the edge. However, I would still not place important text or logos right at the edge, as they can occasionally get cut off. The original Brother label rolls are water- and smudge-resistant. Light water splashes and damp fingers should therefore not be a problem. I would be careful with wet and especially greasy fingers, however. You can download a label graphic created in Canva as a PNG or JPG file and then import it into the Brother software and print it out. That works well for me. These are my personal observations and experiences, as far as I can judge it so far. Best regards
