I would like to use my e-drums in my DAW as a MIDI drum pad, so I buy this adapter. However, my drums only have one midi input and I can only find cables with two heads. Will this cable still work?

The cable has a USB plug and one MIDI input and one MIDI output. This means that you can control MIDI signals in both directions with the cable: receive and send. 

But the question is with your e-drums. If you have only one MIDI socket in the e-drum, you can only control the e-drum in one direction. If it is a MIDI-IN, then you can control the e-drum with your DAW. If, on the other hand, it is a MIDI-OUT, then you can control your DAW with your e-drum.

The cable works as you imagine it. Whether the e-drum does is questionable.
