I bought this cable to connect the Verbatim PMT-15 display, also purchased from Galaxus, to my Mac-Book Air 2024. I was surprised to realise that this does not work, can I make it work with other settings or which cable do I need?

If it works with a different cable, it must be the cable. If not, then it is due to the devices or settings.
I only use this cable as a long charging cable (on SBB trains, the sockets are sometimes so far away from the seats...)
