How many photos were taken by this camera. Essential info when selling second hand, I can't find the information though. Did I miss it?

You can find the number in the EXIF-information of every taken Foto - use a good EXIF-reader.

On a Mac you can use the app "Preview": Open the last photo taken with Preview and call up the information window with "Command-I" ("cmd-I"). Under the "Nikon" tab, for example, you will find the shutter releases under "ShutterCount".
