How high is the power consumption of this card with the daughter card? Does the power consumption increase at all with this card because it does not have its own power connection, only the 24-pin of the mainboard?

Hey Power consumption will increase even if the card does not have a direct connection. The card will draw power from the mainboard, so the mainboard will have to draw more power from the PSU to compensate for this increased consumption.
