Question about HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

Hello everyone, I am looking for an MFP to replace my tried and tested HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. The MFP must certainly have duplex printing and duplex scanning and be able to be operated via Mac OS. I am unsure whether the HP OfficeJet Pro 8730, which has been on the market since 2016, could be a good buy. The alleged compulsory registration with HP bothers me a little. Or how long will the device still be supported in terms of software and drivers? As an alternative, I can see the Epson Ecotank ET-5800, which is significantly more expensive, but in my opinion also offers a lot. What do you think, which MFP should I buy?
