Hello all. I have a small question about the Fujifilm X-T4. Can I use the camera as a webcam via USB-C? And importantly: does the battery also charge at the same time or is it supplied with power at the same time or do I still need an external power supply? Thank you very much for your help.

You can and it works well. But: Power from the PC is not enough, the battery discharges and after about 2 hours it's over.

It only works via USB-C with the FUJIFILM X Webcam software. However, this means you lose the opportunity to charge the camera via USB-C at the same time. It is better with an Elgato Cam Link 4K stick (does not need any software with Win10, Mac no idea). But you need an HDMI to Micro HDMI cable such as the Lindy CROMO Slim High-Speed Micro HDMI Cable Ethernet (super thin and perfect cable).

The X-T4 is then connected via Micro HDMI as a video source and the USB-C port is free for power. I use the Xtorm USB Power Hub XPD20 Edge Pro for this and the battery thus remains full practically all day. Also works with a PowerBank like the Xtorm Laptop Powerbank Voyager XB303 (of course also works with other brands and models).

When using the X-T4 in this constellation as a webcam, it is best not to set the video as 4K, 24P is completely sufficient.
