Has anyone found a suitable bag for the printer that can also hold paper? Apparently the Co2CREA bag for HP Officejet mobile printers is too small...

It is. Buy a separate bag/folder for paper. Depending on the case, there may even be room for your laptop (like in my Tasmanian Tiger).
