Question about Lenovo 40a90090ch

So guys, I ordered the docking and received it today. I can now confirm that this docking station works perfectly with the Yoga 920. It doesn't matter which USB C port I use because it works fine with both ports and no, I have to use 2 cables. I only use 1 USB C cable. I am very happy that the docking station is small and compact, but still has many ports.

I have a customer who uses this dock with a 910-13ikb. unfortunately, however, I had to connect the dock and the notebook with 2x usb type c. the two usb-c ports on the lenovo are not identical (for whatever reason I don't understand). they obviously don't support thunderbolt either.
the advertisements and product descriptions of the new 920 series repeatedly state that they are 2 identical usb-c ports and that they are thunderbolt-compatible.
so it may well be that you can use the usb-c dock 90W by connecting the notebook only 1x via usb-c and thus the charging function, network connection, monitor connections, other usb connections all work in one.

digitec could actually test this..... resp... order the dock and let us all know if it works.... digitec should take the dock back as a gesture of goodwill if it doesn't work....

In order for everything to work, including an external monitor if necessary, a Thunderbolt 3 connection (plug analogous to USB 3 Type-C) must be available. The Lenovo Yoga actually has this. But to be on the safe side, check it.
