Question about Panasonic Lumix G81

Yes this lock is still in place. Customs related, as the EU has decided to tax imported cameras from non-EU countries that can record video for more than 30 minutes at a time at an additional cost. Panasonic didn't want to bear these costs or pass them on to the customer, so there's this block. I have this camera and I also have this limit, but it has never bothered me because I have never filmed for more than 30 minutes at a time. But depending on the area of application, it's not so great. As far as I know, you can only get around this if you buy a non-European model. Unfortunately, I can't tell you to what extent this can be more expensive with additional fees.
