Yes, the image quality is already better than the mobile. It's also good for internet use.
I have an A51 and had a larger 1kg camera that didn't suit my use (too heavy, too slow).

I think not. It needs quite a lot of light for good pictures and the resolution is not sufficient or only just sufficient for A3. All in all, however, the results are satisfactory. I bought the camera because it is robust and waterproof. Something that my big camera can't do.
