Accepted Answer

The crop factor only applies to EF lenses on APS-C cameras. With EF-S (I assume you mean this one [Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM - Schweiz Ware](https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/canon-ef-s-10-18mm-f45-56-is-stm-schweiz-ware-objektiv-2579107) ) this does not apply. In that case, the angle of view is exactly the same as the specified focal length of 10-18mm.

@ldch-zpa It is correct. The 10-18 is an APS-C lens and then corresponds to a 16-29 mm lens on an APS-C camera. Unfortunately, there are always misunderstandings here and it is also answered incorrectly.
