Canon has not managed to integrate a reasonably acceptable GPS receiver in this camera either: According to the data sheet: "GPS function:GPS external (permanent smartphone connection, wired or plug-in receiver)". "Permanent smartphone connection! It's best to carry a small emergency power supply around with you as well......

Practically no DSLM has a GPS receiver. Not even from other manufacturers. I can only think of the Olympus OM-D E-M1 X.
