Can the Sound BlasterX G5 also be used as a headphone amplifier for mobile phones? I would like to connect the earphone output of the mobile phone to the microphone input of the Sound BlasterX G5! Thanks for feedback

Yes, it works. However, the battery of the Soundblaster is not very good, and after about 1 year, it can only be operated via a usb cable. In addition, the app no longer works since my last Android update. I.e. you can no longer change the sound settings. I would look for another headphone amplifier.
