Can I use compatible toners with the HP M479? Apparently you can disable the "genuine cardridge policy protection" in the printer, does it work then?

Hi. From experience, I would only use the original HP cartridges. They are a little more expensive, but deliver top quality. And should complications arise where it can be proven that the original HP cartridges were not used, the warranty will be voided. It is relatively easy to prove that non-HP cartridges have been used. I would not do this. Greetings P.
