Can I connect the cable from my Rode Wireless Go to my Iphone and then use the Iphone to record video where the Ron is automatically recorded by the Wireless Go, or do I need the Rode Al Micro adapter device for this? Many thanks for the support
No, the USB-C output of the Rode Wireless GO (1st generation) is only intended for battery charging and firmware updates and not for streaming the audio signal. The analogue output (Minjack) must be used for this. To be able to record the analogue signal from the Rode Wireless GO on the iPhone, the audio interface Rode AI-Micro is the optimal solution.
