Question about Sony Alpha 7R IV A
Are the available lenses really capable of resolving that finely? I'm still amazed at the pictures from my 5D (12Mp)

Yes, for fixed focal lengths, such as 35mm f/1.8 & 50mm f/1.8, which are very sharp. What's more, they're light and easy to handle.
Now I don't know your habits and if you use zooms I can't give you any information as I only own a 28-75mm f/2.8 from Tamron
which I like, but it's a bit too small for the 60mp sensor.
