A FREE warranty extension to 3 years is offered via the HP promo page. However, the offer can only be found there for Laserjet printers. OfficeJet Pro 9012 printers are thrown out. Fake or mistake? Fried

With the HP Officejet Pro 9012 I bought, I did this by registering the printer with HP. This gave me the third year of warranty.
