This is a carbon fiber CFK tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded (drawn). This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the tubes are susceptible to shear loads. For cutting, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw, rather than side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it perfect for applications where stability and lightness are required.
