Purecrea Carbon Tube ø12xØ14mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded (drawn). This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the tubes are susceptible to shear loads. For cutting, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw, rather than side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it perfect for applications where stability and lightness are required. The surface is slightly porous and can be easily bonded with 3D-printed parts. This allows for the construction of lightweight, complex, and stable frameworks, for example, for model building.
