My first Siemens toaster from 1999 still works, although the spring is no longer as strong. This appliance is actually the same model. I have a red one with a Swiss plug, and this one has European ones. That's probably why it cost a lot less than other sellers. I can only recommend this. Looks beautiful, and works wonderfully.
