Lower power and reduced heat generation compared to conventional halogen pin-base lamps. Extremely low consumption makes it ideal for permanent lighting, such as a night light in bedrooms or for walkways. When using multiple LED lamps, it is also suitable for table or task lighting. Consumer note: The LED lamp is designed for use in open fixtures. The heat generated during operation can be dissipated into the environment. The lifespan estimate is based on this operating mode. Of course, the LED lamps can also be used in closed fixtures, but the lifespan will be reduced due to lack of cooling. The LED lamp should only be used in designated fixtures.
