The Voltcraft VC771 is particularly suitable for measurements in eMobility, eDrive, large electric motors and drives, as well as in photovoltaics. With a protection class of CAT III 1500 V, it meets the requirements in these areas. The large measurement range of up to 1500 A AC for electric motors and transformers and up to 2000 A DC for direct current systems and supply lines allows for a wide range of applications for this clamp meter. Measuring at frequency converters with the low-pass filter activated increases measurement accuracy, and all data can be transmitted in real-time to iOS or Android devices.

The Voltcraft VC771 PV clamp meter enables a variety of measurements: voltage, current, frequencies from 9.999 Hz to 9.999 kHz, capacitances up to 100 mF, and resistances up to 60 MΩ are precisely determined. Additionally, continuity tests are available.

A range of functions facilitates operation: the measurement range can be defined either automatically or manually, and the data hold function, along with the max-min measurement value memory, makes it easier to evaluate the results. Furthermore, reference value measurements and the determination of the duty cycle are possible. Both iOS and Android-based mobile devices can be connected to the clamp meter via Bluetooth and an app.

The hardware of the Voltcraft VC771 PV clamp meter is also user-friendly: it warns of overload and low battery status and automatically switches off after prolonged inactivity. Dust and splash water protected according to IP54, extremely robust, and equipped with a rubber protective frame and LED flashlight, the clamp meter reliably performs its duties even under adverse conditions.
