This VE.Can to CAN-Bus BMS cable from Victron (MPN ASS030720050) is required to connect a CAN-Bus compatible battery that is not from Victron to a Victron GX device. The cable, which is 5 m long, conforms to Type B and can be used with the following batteries:

  • LG Chem Resu
  • AXIstorage
  • BMZ
  • Pylontech US2000 / US3000 / UP2500

Installation

The side labelled "CAN-Bus BMS" is to be plugged into the battery. The other side labelled "VE.Can" must be connected either to the VE.Can port of the GX device or to the BMS-Can port. Both port types of a GX device can be configured for use with a third-party CAN-Bus battery connected to a BMS. Information on configuration can be found in the manual for the battery you are using.
