Victron Energy SmartSolar 250/60

The Smartsolar MPPT 250/60-MC4 from Victron Energy belongs to the latest generation of smart solar controllers from the Dutch premium manufacturer. The controller handles 60 A of solar current and can flexibly work with 12/24/36/48 V batteries, with a maximum PV input voltage of 250 V DC. The ultra-fast power tracking and automatic power point detection in partial shading are just two of the many highlights of this new class of devices. Additionally, this model supports parallel operation with other controllers of the same type.

Compared to the Smartsolar 150 series, the 250 series can process a maximum PV input voltage of 250 V. This is one of the reasons why the 250 solar controller family has been able to increase efficiency by 1 percent to a total of 99%, setting new industry standards. Among all solar charge controllers we know, this value is currently the best.

In comparison to the BlueSolar family, the 250 Smartsolar series also has the Bluetooth module already integrated into the controller, making the Smart Dongle unnecessary for analyzing and configuring the controller via smartphone or tablet. Also new is the optionally available LCD display, which can be easily attached to the SmartSolar 250/60-MC4 as needed. The display then provides all important information regarding the controller.
